On Discovery Channel, the trailer has been released to describe the adventure about Paul Rosolie , a filmmaker who has claimed that he was lucky enough to be alive for telling the story when he went inside the jaws of an anaconda. In the trailer, Paul Rosolie put on a suit, which was “snake-proof”, smothering himself in pig’s blood, and lunging for the snake right before the clip went black.

To kill the misunderstanding of his stunt, Paul Rosolie resorted to twitter for a better explanation himself. As for people’s dislike towards hurting the anaconda in recent days, Rosolie said, people should know him better, because he would never hurt a living thing. If they would have a chance to watch #EatenAlive, they would definitely find out how such thing really happened.

By doing so, with the help of photograph, he made his remarks for a comment. In his words, he added, throughout history snakes had been regarded as one of the most feared and misunderstood animals on our planet. Compared with any other animal, snakes had been killed, persecuted and exterminated by human intentions.

But in the last 48 hours, many of people from every corner of the world had given their opinions and petitions to defend the snake. That should be considered to be a passionate and sweeping response to be observed in an encouraging way.

It is still doubted that more people are interested in watching such the “eaten alive” stunt. The bet is a free choice.

EATEN ALIVE airs on Sunday Dec. 7 at 9/8c on Discovery.
